2017 A VERY SPECIAL YEAR! 2017 is an important year, as it marks 50 years of selling real estate for me. Yep, 1/2 century and nearly $3 billion worth of real estate later, I’m still here. I started out in 1967 in Millbrae CA selling $15,000 to $25,000 residential homes, then I started my own business in 1969 and by 1974 had 8 offices and 300 sales people working for me in San Mateo County. In the early 1970’s I was invited to join and sit on the new board of Founders Title Company, that later became the largest title company in Northern California. I sat on the board for 9 years until it was sold to Old Republic.
During this time a brand new national real estate company was started called Century 21. Our company was the first to join in San Mateo County and I became their president. I had created a “One Call Does It All” relocation idea and sold it to C-21. I traveled across the nation helping to get others to join the company and set up their own relocation director in each office.
