Below is  a master plan for Cashew Estates which shows the condos in the valley part of the property, but not in ocean view area, which is the upper portion. You can see the elevation is significant, hence the great views.



 Cashew Estates Plano, the lower portion is that which fronts a major public road--almost a full kilometer of frontage.  To the left is pasture and 1-5 acre lots. Further out is the ocean. Thus ocean views are to the west. The entire upper portion has ocean views, and many of the lots have spectacular mountain and valley views.  To the right is not likely to be developed as it is currently pasture and quite low.



One thing that differentiates the Flamingo Beach area of the Pacific, is that a law went into effect that limits the height of buildings, especially within 800 meters of the beach. it essentially limits them to 3 floors, or perhaps four, if the lower unit is partially underground---which is unlikely near the beach, for obvious reasons. In effect, the law will ensure that what has happened elsewhere with high density developments on the beach will not happen here.  This law will help maintain a more open and natural setting along the coastline presenting a much improved aesthetic feel versus what one would see in an area such as Tamarindo where condo towers crowd the beaches.  The Cashew and Pacific Heights properties have more relaxed restrictions.
