Alexander Valley "Cult" Vineyard Estate

This unique country vineyard estate setting has the feel of being far away from the city, while being only minutes from civilization.  The Cedar Log Home overlooks a beautiful stone free form pool, separate spa, lush gardens and a view that overlooks the Alexander Valley.

 Some recent improvements include a new steel roof with sky lights, new carpet, new tankless water heater, forced air heat and A/C units, new wood burning stove, new regrigerator, and well.

The present owner has planted approximately 3 acres of  root stock vines for  Ultra Premium Cabernet Sauvignon.  The vineyard is planted close to a meter by meter spacing arrangement which provides nearly 3 times the amount of vines per acre than a typical modern vineyard.  Meter by meter spacing also produces excellent fruit and this vineyard is expected to produce 5 tons / acre of Ultra Premium fruit earning $3,000 - $4,000 / ton.  The rootstock used is 101-14 and some 110-R.  The rootstock will be grafted over to Cab clone 337 in April of 2009.

 The vineyard has been planted and groomed by the present owner who in the past worked with one of the premiere wineries and grape growers in Sonoma County as a Vineyard Executive.  This has been a hands on project treated with much love and dedication and is expected to produce some of the best fruit in the Alexander Valley Appellation.
