Scott received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pepperdine University in 1992. His first introduction to the wine industry was with Spring Mountain Vineyards while he was on summer break from college. While he was working at Spring Mountain he spent many hours with his father, John, learning about the vineyard and wine industry.

Scott’s History

When Scott graduated from Pepperdine, he started his sales career with a food brokerage company. After a few years of food sales he moved to representing carpet manufacturers, spending over 5 years assisting the flooring industry on how to promote products and educate consumers with product knowledge.

He then moved to one of the oldest hotel supply companies in the United States, gaining market share from hotels within the San Francisco Bay Area by creating cost effective ways to obtain merchandise and reducing hotels’ delivery expenses. With his new-found knowledge of transportation, he moved into the is industry, assisting California-based transport industries maintain their operational expenses. After spending so much time working with businesses providing different products and services, he and his father felt it was time to join his father’s company, Bergman Euro-National. Scott looks forward to using his accumulated sales knowledge and working with the family business Bergman Euro-National.

In August, 2013, Scott was written up about a Napa Valley winery sale that involved a large Hong Kong Group he represented. He has become a huge asset with foreign investments to Napa and Sonoma vineyards and wineries.
